Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for L3 automotive technicians for a well-established company based in Bury, these positions are permanent and are immediately starting. The Role of the Level 3 Vehicle Technician: * To advise the workshop controller if additional work is required on a vehicle and to seek their assistance and authority in order to rectify faults * Undertaking various repairs, from minor maintenance to major / in-depth work * Ensuring high standard of work and maximum efficiency * Completing pre-delivery inspections in accordance with company standards * Continually review own performance and business practices in order to identify areas for improvement * Be able to listen to customers and their needs and communicate technical information in a concise manner, ensuring the company image of professionalism and quality of service is maintained at all times * To assist management with the introduction of new / efficient methods of working What you’ll need as a Level 3 Vehicle Technician: * Full UK driving Licence (held for 3 years) * Level 3 Diploma / City & Guilds in vehicle mechanics or proven equivalent experience * Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles * Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods * Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment * Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. * The ability to work as part of a strong and well-established team 42 hours per week. Monday – Friday 08:30 -17:30. One in four Sundays 10-14:00 This role would suit a Technician working within a Dealership who would like to further develop their career through working on a variety of brands, and who wishes to progress within a rapidly growing business.
