VEHICLE TECHNICIAN Location of the Vehicle Technician / Car Technician / Mechanic / Technician / Car Mechanic / Light Vehicle Technician: Rugby Salary of the Vehicle Technician / Car Technician / Mechanic / Technician / Car Mechanic / Light Vehicle Technician: £42,000.00pa basic plus Overtime Hours of Work for the Vehicle Technician / Car Technician / Mechanic / Technician / Car Mechanic / Light Vehicle Technician: Monday to Friday 07:00am - 17:00pm and 2 out of 4 Saturday mornings at Overtime My client, a very busy and ever growing vehicle supplier are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Technician / Mechanic / Technician / Car Mechanic / Light Vehicle Technician to join their site based in Rugby. Duties of the Vehicle Technician / Car Technician / Mechanic / Technician / Car Mechanic / Light Vehicle Technician: * ·Utilising your mechanical knowledge to carry out repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including clutch replacement and cam belt replacement. * ·Effectively and productively repair vehicles from brake pads and tyres to oil and filter checks. * ·Complete minor electrical work as and when required. * ·Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical & vehicle diagnostics. * ·Working against set parameters to inspect the mechanical condition of vehicles. * ·Performing technical vehicle assessments. The ideal Vehicle Technician / Car Technician / Mechanic / Technician / Car Mechanic / Light Vehicle Technician will have: * ·Full UK driving license. * ·A keen eye for detail and recognising the importance of giving every car in our workshop the highest standard of care. * ·A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to overcome challenges and solve problems quickly. * ·A huge passion for learning and keeping up with industry innovations to help you perform at your best. * ·Communication with Worksop Controller/Manager to ensure that quality repairs are carried out on all vehicles. * ·Strong technical background with experience of working as motor vehicle mechanic in similar role. * ·Good communication skills. * ·Ability to carry out repairs efficiently and to a high level of quality. * ·A minimum of NVQ L3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent). * ·A qualified diagnostic technician, preferably multi-brand. * ·Must be fully trained and be able to demonstrate both speed & quality of work.
