Vehicle Technician Location: Coldmeece, Staffordshire Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 (30 mins unpaid lunch) Employment Type: Permanent Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client’s team in Coldmeece, Staffordshire on a permanent basis! The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical and electrical repairs, ensuring that all vehicles meet the highest standards of safety and functionality. Key Responsibilities: * Follow job cards to carry out approved repairs. * Remove and refit parts across multiple vehicle brands. * Understand and follow advised customer repair standards. * Diagnose and problem-solve basic mechanical and electrical issues. * Complete safety checks (Mechanical Inspections) on newly arrived vehicles. * Ensure all repairs are carried out to a high standard and quality check your own work. * Maintain a tidy and safe work environment. Skills and Experience Required: * Good knowledge and understanding of multi-brand cars and vans. * Previous experience in mechanical and electrical fitting. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. * Strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements. * Willingness to go on an MOT testers course if not already a qualified tester.
