Vehicle Technician We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician with main dealer experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a passion for excellence and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of workmanship. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our vehicles.   Key Responsibilities:   Carry out service, diagnosis, and repair of vehicles to excellent standards. Communicate effectively with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control. Provide your expert, technical opinion to customers when necessary. Maintain thorough and up-to-date product knowledge. Deliver exceptionally high customer service levels, fostering customer loyalty and referrals. Maintain good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including diagnostics, inspections, and technical troubleshooting. Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and address potential safety and performance concerns. Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor time. Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in automotive repair and maintenance. Adhere to all safety protocols and standards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Qualifications:   NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance. Proven experience as a vehicle technician with main dealer experience. Solid understanding of automotive systems and components. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK Driving License.
