Job description Vehicle Technician/ Vehicle Mechanic / Vehicle Production Technician  Salary from: £30,000 - £32,000  "Are you currently working as an Vehicle Technician and fed up with being undervalued at your current employer?" “Are you looking to get the benefits of working with a big brand?” “Do you enjoy flavour by working with different models of vehicles?” We are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician in Derbyshire.  What you will be doing? ✔  Assemble new vehicles for road and race applications.  ✔  Development and manufacture of bespoke new vehicles for specialist applications. ✔ Inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicle to ensure road worthiness and reliability to high standards. ✔ Diagnostics and repair of mechanical issues, to include steering, suspension, and brake systems. Fuel and air systems, Transmission, and driveline. ✔ Diagnostics and repair of electrical issues including ABS, EBS, HVAC and Multiplex CAN Systems. ✔ Replacement of major units. ✔ Repairs including engine repair/rebuild. ✔ To always maintain health and safety standards and work within company guidelines and safe working practices. ✔ Complete job cards, maintenance records and associated paperwork to a good standard. ✔ To adhere to the Company’s Policy & Procedures. ✔ To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis. ✔ To carry out any repair work. Qualifications and experience requirements: ✔ Recognised apprenticeship or proven work history. ✔ City and Guilds / Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.  ✔ Additional qualifications in specialist diagnostics, electrical repair, mechanical repair and welding would be advantageous.
