We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. Job Description: As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a wide range of airport commercial vehicles and specialist ground support equipment. This includes motor cars, HGVs, buses, coaches, and military vehicles and plant. You will work in a fast-paced environment to ensure the safety and reliability of all vehicles and equipment used at Heathrow Airport. Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on airport commercial vehicles and ground support equipment. * Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. * Conduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety. * Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the service manager. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. * Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies. Qualifications and Experience: * Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of motor cars, HGVs, buses, coaches, or military vehicles and plant. * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. * Excellent mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are desirable. * Full UK driving license.
