Service Technician £30k - £35k depending on experience Chelmsford, Essex Permanent/Full Time Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am – 6pm) / 1 in 2 Saturdays (9am – 1pm) Our client, located in the Chelmsford area of Essex, is on the lookout for an experienced Service Technician to join their busy workshop. If you hold the right experience – this could be your next role! Duties & Responsibilities of a Service Technician: * Performing routine vehicle servicing tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks. * Carrying out vehicle inspections to identify any mechanical or electrical issues. * Repairing or replacing worn or damaged parts. * Performing any scheduled maintenance tasks according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. * Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge. * Ensuring that all work meets quality standards. * Being part of a team and bringing a high attention to detail. * Providing your technical expert opinion to customers. Your Background & Skill: * Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in mechanics OR equivalent experience. * Proven experience working as a Vehicle/Service Technician within a main dealer or independent. * Strong communication skills. * Full UK Driving Licence. * Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
