Our client is a highly regarded and long-established automotive company, specialising in the restoration of classic cars. The Role: * Conducting fault diagnosis on engines, brakes, transmissions, fuel systems, etc. * Performing servicing and repairs on classic cars. * Identifying potential hazards and maintaining the condition of tools and machinery. * Adhering to high standards of health and safety. Requirements for the role: * A good knowledge of traditional petrol engines, in particular carburettor fuel systems and distributor type ignition systems. * A good knowledge of fault finding on traditional vehicles. * A good knowledge of engine building. * A general knowledge of traditional electrical, transmission, braking and suspension systems. * An ability to solve technical problems with good engineering practice. * An ability to work effectively within a team of five skilled technicians. * Self-motivated with commitment to high quality where job satisfaction is important
