Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician looking for a new role with a fantastic growing company? Our client is expanding rapidly and are looking for new staff to join their team and grow with them. You will be joining a very friendly team with one of the UK’s vehicle hire companies who are always wanting to help and work together to achieve the best results possible! Main: * 42.5 hours a week * Monday - Friday + 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings * 8am to 5pm with 1 hour break – Saturdays 8am-12pm rota paid at OT rate 1 ½ * Salary between £35,000 - £41,500 OTE * Bonus Scheme - £600 per quarter roughly £2400 per year * Training bonus available up to £1500 a year The Role of a Vehicle Technician: * Carry out services on all makes and models of vehicles * Pre and post MOT repairs * Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation * Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment * General maintenance and repairs * Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs) * Suspension work * Repairs on lights * Repairing and replacing exhausts * Repairing and replacing clutches * Dealing with gearboxes * Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience. * Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed Vehicle Technician Requirements: * NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 5 years services * Hold a full valid driver license. * MOT Tester Certificate highly desirable but not essential
