We have a great opportunity for a Vehicle Technician, for someone who is looking to work for one of the UK's fastest growing companies. They offer some of the highest salaries in the market, Monday to Friday working, along with 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays. You will be predominantly working on vans but will also work on cars and electric vehicles (EV's). Providing general maintenance, vehicle diagnostics, MOT's and servicing. Experience • Ability to diagnose and rectify faults to our LCV and Car fleet (Ford, Mercedes, Renault, Peugeot, Fiat, Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda) • Be able to repair electrical systems and basic vehicle electrics • Work to Autodata repair times • Be able to strip and repair gearboxes when required • Replace engines (half assembled) • Be able to read wiring diagrams. • Fit aftermarket products (beacons, towbars, exterior lights etc) • Be able to complete basic vehicle quality check and servicing as per reflex standards • Interpret instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair instructions • Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information • Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults • Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition • Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. • Enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests • Comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures Requirements * Hold a Level 2 or 3 Mechanic Qualification * Minimum 1 year of experience * Experience in fault diagnosis * Electrical knowledge is an advantage but not essential
