Vehicle Technician- Plymouth

Salary: Up to £50k

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.30pm, NO WEEKENDS

My client is searching for a talented Diagnostic Technician who is looking to form a career with a strong company with strong brands. My client is a well established new and used car dealer who is looking for the right candidate to join their team. The right candidate will be hard working with a high skill level and experience.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Repair equivalent or higher.
• At least 1 years of experience as a vehicle technician.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and software.
• MOT licence a bonus.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
