Questech Recruitment are on the lookout for Vehicle Technicians who would be interested in ongoing Agency work in the North East working on Vans. This role would be perfect for a Self Employed Technicians who is looking for enhanced rates and weekly pay. The Role: You will work on a fleet of vehicles carrying out preventative maintenance which includes using a variety of hand-held tools to extract old nuts and bolts and install new ones and all preventive maintenance work required. Duties: * Drilling and extracting using hand-held tools * Problem solving * Carry out assignments in a timely manner * Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness * Work effectively as part of a team or independently * Comply with all EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work site Experience: * Strong attention to detail * Problem solving and analytical skills * Experience working on Light Vehicles, HGV and Plant Vehicles would be an advantage. * General mechanical and fabrication skills, metalworking experience * Welding skills advantageous but not essential * Health and safety / safe working knowledge Hours: Flexible working hours Pay Rate (Hourly): £22 - £25 PAYE OR up to £32 through LTD or Umbrella.
