We are seeking a skilled an Experienced Vehicle Technician at our main dealer facility in Gloucester. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the repair, maintenance and servicing of vehicles of all makes and models. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with power tools and diagnostic equipment. This is a full-time Vehicle technician position Monday- Friday and Saturday mornings on a team rota as overtime this is paid on top of the basic salary at double time 4 hour shift 8 hours pay. With a competitive basic salary of £30000 based on experience, With a Ote of £35,000 including. A £1000 welcome bonus is paid every 3 months for the 1st year = an additional £4000 on top of any salary and bonus earned. As a Vehicle technician you will need your own tools and a full driving licence. Level 2 or 3 or above at imi / nvq or similar certification. Time served Vehicle technicians also welcome. If you are an Mot tester that will be a distinct advantage but we can put you through the Mot course if this is something you are looking to progress to. Duties as a Vehicle technician - Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks according to established guidelines - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment - Inspect vehicles for damage or defects and recommend necessary repairs - Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles - Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns Vehicle techniican Skills: - Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for vehicle repairs - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail We offer opportunities for career advancement and professional development within our organization.
