Vehicle Technician – Classic & Vintage Vehicles Are you a skilled Automotive Technician with a passion for classic and vintage vehicles? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical workshop that specialises in the restoration of historic cars, dating from 1920 to 1967. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a fully equipped workshop, featuring both engine and chassis dynamometers. The company prides itself on craftsmanship of the highest standard and is looking for a technician who shares the same commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities: Diagnosing and repairing classic petrol engines, including carburettor fuel systems and distributor ignition systems. Fault-finding and troubleshooting on traditional vehicles. Engine building and restoration. Working with traditional electrical, transmission, braking, and suspension systems. Applying sound engineering practices to solve technical problems. Collaborating effectively within a team of skilled technicians.Requirements: Strong knowledge of traditional petrol engines, carburettor fuel systems, and distributor-type ignition systems. Experience in diagnosing and repairing classic vehicles. Understanding of engine rebuilding and traditional vehicle systems. Self-motivated, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality workmanship. Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive workshop environment.Benefits: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM schedule. 28 days of annual leave.
