We're a busy independant garage with a fantastic reputation looking to add to our team in Rushden, Northamptonshire.   BASIC SALARY: Up to £45,000   BENEFITS: · 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays · Pension scheme   LOCATION: Rushden   COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Wellingborough, Kettering, Raunds, Northampton, Thrapston, Bedford, Oundle, Corby, Market Harborough, Newport Pagnell, St Neots, Huntingdon.   JOB DESCRIPTION: Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic - Automotive   You'll be an important and integral part of the team and possess the ability to take on a variety of tasks in the workshop including; diagnostic / fault finding, service and maintenance, repair and rectification work. You'll ideally have experience with a range of makes and models as you'll cover all aspects of work associated with automotive servicing and repair. You'll look after vehicles from the daily family car, through to prestige, sports and high performance. Monday to Friday 8am -6pm with Saturday 8:30-12:30 on a rota basis.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic - Automotive   As part of our team, you will be expected to take on and perform various challenges and tasks.   These could include: · Diagnostic and fault finding. · Servicing and maintenance tasks. · Rectification and repairs. · Engine, clutch and gearbox repairs. · MOT testing (if certified).   PERSON SPECIFICATION: Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic - Automotive   To be considered for this role, you'll have a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent and be able to demonstrate experience in various skills and exposure to a wide range of vehicle servicing aspects.
