Recruitment Solutions are working with a prestigious market leading Motor Car Dealership in Twyford, Berkshire. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician on a permanent basis. This role would be ideal for anyone with a keen interest in vehicle maintenance who wants to progress their career to the next level with a household name in the industry. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out diagnostic work and repair and service all makes of vehicles * General servicing and maintenance of used cars * Used car/Van PDI inspections * Carry out MOT Testing (If qualified) * Conduct vehicle road tests to diagnose possible faults * Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters Candidate Expectations: * Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with technical expertise to work at pace * A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures * A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent) * Ability to carry out MOT’s is desirable, but not essential as full training will be offered * Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace * Tech savvy and confident using iPad software Working Hours,Days,Salary: * Monday to Friday – 08:00-16:30 * Saturdays – 1 in 2 rota – 08:00-12:00 * Weekend Availability * 45 hours per week * Half Hour Lunch Break Benefits: * 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays * Flexible working hours * Company Pension Scheme
