Vehicle Technician JMBHorsePower is a small family led business that provides high standards of workmanship and customer service. Specialising in servicing, repair, refurbishment and build of small, medium and large horseboxes. At times working with specialist contractors, this position offers genuine variety. We are looking for someone who has vehicle mechanical skills, a clean driving license and enthusiasm to join our team as a Horsebox Technician. The opportunity to learn new skills along with career progression and the potential to develop into a Workshop Manager. Vehicle Technician Responsibiities: * Maintain, service and repair horseboxes and trailers * Conduct pre-test inspections, fault finding and repairing mechanical faults * Inspect vehicle engine, mechanical and electrical components to troubleshoot and diagnose issues accurately * Problem- solving to Identify any potential issues or safety hazards * Working with specialist contractors on horsebox refurbishments and new builds * Liaising directly with customers Vehicle Technician Requirements: * Mechanical Experience * UK Driving License * Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipement * Self motivated, able to work independently and within a team * Ability to function calmly under pressure * Practical and enquiring approach to problem solving * Dedication to quality and reliability in all aspects of work * Responsiveness to customer needs and focus on customer satisfaction Nice to have but not essential: * General electric, woodwork and plumbing * Steel welding experience What we offer you: * Performance related bonus * Fuel Allowance * Free on-site parking * Free work clothes
