Vehicle Technician Location: King's Lynn Salary: £32,000–£42,000 Basic + Bonus (OTE £60,000) Job Type: Full Time | Permanent The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful dealership in King's Lynn. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities * Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on customer vehicles. * Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment. * Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements. * Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and company standards. * Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation. * Work efficiently to achieve productivity and efficiency targets. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. * Support colleagues and contribute to overall workshop performance. Candidate Requirements Essential * Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. * Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician. * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities. * Full UK driving licence. * Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Desirable * MOT Tester qualification. * Franchise dealership experience. * Hybrid and EV qualifications. * Manufacturer accreditation.
