Vehicle Technician Up to £45k depending on experience Uckfield Permanent/Full Time Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm) / Saturdays are optional Our client, a family run independent garage in the Uckfield area, is on the lookout for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their workshop. They are looking for someone who is passionate about the motor trade and wants to produce quality work (no pressures or targets/KPIS). Duties & Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician: * Carrying out servicing, diagnosing and repairing of vehicles to excellent standards. * Delivering exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals. * Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control. * Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge. * Adhering to manufacturer procedures and processes. * Being part of a team and bringing a high attention to detail. * Providing your technical expert opinion to customers. Your Background & Skill: * Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician. * MOT Testing experience would be advantageous. * Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer. * Strong communication skills. * Full UK Driving Licence. * Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
