Well Established, Supportive Family Business Dorking Area We are looking for a reliable and experienced Service Technician to join a well-established, family-run garage. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out routine vehicle servicing, including oil and filter changes, fluid top-ups, and checks on brakes, tyres, and lights * Perform fast-fit work such as tyre replacements, brake pad changes, exhaust repairs, and battery replacements * Diagnose and repair minor faults and wear-and-tear issues to keep vehicles roadworthy * Maintain accurate service records and complete paperwork in line with company procedures * Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times * Assist with vehicle inspections and prepare vehicles for MOTs (training provided if required) * Provide excellent customer service by explaining work carried out and advising on future maintenance needs Requirements: * Full driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points * Proven experience as a Service Technician in a busy workshop environment * MOT experience is advantageous but not essential * Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently * Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude What We Offer: * Competitive salary between £38,000 and £42,000 basic pay * 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Onsite free parking * Supportive family business environment * Training opportunities tailored to your needs * Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break If you want to work somewhere that values your expertise and supports your development, this is the perfect role for you.
