My client is an established and rapidly expanding vehicle and plant maintenance company, serving national companies to efficiently maintain their asset fleets through a network of mobile plant engineers. They are looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to help support the team. Main Responsibilities Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing any required work. Discussing required repairs with admin team and customers. Calculating the expected time for repairs. Repairing or replacing components as required. Road testing vehicles to test repair work or diagnose Fitting and servicing vehicle accessories, including parking sensors, cameras, towbars and reverse cameras. Performing service and vehicle system safety checks. Performing vehicle maintenance tasks, such as changing oil and air filters, brakes, clutch, gearbox, suspension and diagnostics as required. Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety. To carry out quality checks on all technician's work and discuss findings When requested visit off site locations and carry out safety checked maintenance works To ensure at all times that our health and safety guidelines are adhered to both personal and team health and well-being is kept in mind Other duties as assigned. Required Education, Skills and Qualifications Plant & Vehicle Fitting experience is required for this position. Full valid Driving Licence with 6 points or less. Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications Maintain any required professional qualifications Conduct yourself in a manner that protects the corporate image and integrity.Person Specification Problem solving ability/initiative Great interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
