Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Vehicle Paint Technician to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Sandy working as part of their welding team. Principle Responsibilities for the Vehicle Paint Technician: * All stages of painting a vehicle including preparation, filling, spraying and polishing. * Carry out preparation/ spray painting operations to the agreed method and of a high standard. * Maintain and clean spray guns. * Responsible for keeping all company tools and equipment safe and in a clean, * Dispose of all paint, lacquer, thinners and general waste correctly. Person specification:- * Ideally you will be an experienced Paint Sprayer with a settled career history in a Bodyshop environment and be able to demonstrate a hand’s on and focus-driven approach. * An excellent understanding of automotive systems and the specific materials required for the vehicle body repair process. * The candidate will be an enthusiastic / driven individual that is also able to always deliver high-quality work. * This position requires somebody with good attention to detail and who works to high standards at all times. * Experience in metal working e.g, Welding and panel beating would also be beneficial. Working Hours: Monday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm Tuesday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.30 pm Wednesday/Thursday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 5.00 pm Friday 7.30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime). Overtime is generally available paid at 1.5 times hourly rate Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.
