Job Description Vehicle Fitter Our Client is based in Barton-Le-Clay we carry out specialist vehicle conversions for the emergency services and government agencies, namely Police, Fire and Ambulance authorities. With a large amount of local area police service vehicles being converted here at our workshops. Due to a good standing in the sector and continued expansion, we have several new positions available. We are currently looking for fitters and fully qualified technicians. Day to day you will fit enhanced electrical systems, along with fitting out vehicles for operational use. A basic tool set would be required for the role. Training will be provided with the scope to progress in the business. * Auto-electrical experience an advantage, NVQ level 2/3 in a relevant qualification (or proven automotive electrical experience) * Be able to follow build instructions and take notes for installations carried out. * Be able to crimp automotive connections. * Interest in vehicles. * Good practical skills an advantage. * Full training for process’s used during the conversion.
