The Vehicle dynamics engineer is responsible for optimising the performance of our premium high-performance vehicles. Responsible for delivering and monitoring performance from concept stage through development to production. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge vehicles that deliver exceptional handling, ride comfort, and performance. Main Responsibilities of the Vehicle Dynamics Engineer: Vehicle Dynamics Analysis: Conduct in-dept analysis through simulation tools of all characteristics of vehicle dynamics including ride, handling, and ultimate performance. Generate vehicle and component level limit and fatigue load decks based on MBS and Lap simulation.Suspension System Development: Design suspension layout to meet the vehicle attribute targets within mass and packaging constraints. Support chassis team in suspension layout and component development. Support safety team in suspension layout for crash performance.Chassis Tuning: Support development team in optimising vehicle performance and meeting vehicle dynamics attribute requirements. Correlate between test and simulation data.Performance Attribute Development: Define Vehicle attribute metrics for vehicle programs exceeding industry benchmarks and matching the Gordon Murray Advanced Engineering requirements. Continuously monitor attribute performance through design and development to ensure that targets are being met.Continuous Improvement: Develop and optimise workflow processes. Develop scripts to automate pre- and post-processing. Optimise information transfer between teams within the business Essenital requirements: Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in vehicle dynamics development. Proficiency in simulation tools, required experience in Multi-Body simulation software Experience with vehicle testing and data analysis tools Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
