Chatham Area A growing, family-run motor group with an excellent local reputation is seeking an experienced Vehicle Diagnostics Technician to join their professional and supportive workshop team. About the Role: As a Vehicle Diagnostics Technician, you will specialise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults on both petrol and diesel engines and electric vehicles (EVs). Your responsibilities include: * Advanced diagnostics of engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and electrical systems * High-voltage system fault finding and repairs on hybrid and fully electric vehicles * Electrical wiring diagnosis and component repairs or replacements * Use of advanced diagnostic tools, manufacturer-specific software, and fault code analysis * Collaborating with workshop and service teams to ensure accurate and timely repairs Please note: this role focuses exclusively on diagnostics and repairs; routine servicing and MOT preparation are handled by other team members.
