My client is one of the South easts premier Coachworks - thety are looking for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join their Coachworks. As a VDA, you will be responsible for assessing the damage to vehicles and creating accurate repair estimates, ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: * Inspecting damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage * Creating accurate and detailed repair estimates using manufacturer's data and industry guidelines * Liaising with customers and insurance companies to discuss repair costs and timescales * Ordering necessary parts and materials for repairs * Monitoring repairs and ensuring they are completed to a high standard * Keeping up-to-date with manufacturer repair methods and industry standards * Providing support and guidance to other members of the team as required * Ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations * Keeping work area clean and tidy * Maintaining equipment and tools Requirements: * Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor in an Accident Repair Centre or similar environment * Thorough knowledge of vehicle repair methods, materials, and costs * Ability to use manufacturer repair data and industry guidelines to create accurate estimates * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * A valid driving licence
