Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) Location: In Person – [Insert Specific Location] Up to £46,000 OTE (includes site bonus, dependent on experience & qualifications) Monday – Friday | 8am – 5pm | Full-Time | Permanent The Opportunity We're looking for a qualified and experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join a highly respected repair group with a strong reputation for quality and progression. This role is ideal for someone confident in their estimating skills and familiar with Audatex and modern estimating tools. You’ll be working in a professional, well-equipped bodyshop and supported by a close-knit team and wider group benefits. What You’ll Be Doing Prepare accurate manual and computerised estimates to meet insurer and customer expectations Identify, source, and track parts orders efficiently – including return and suitability checks Communicate repair plans clearly with technicians to ensure understanding of the authorised work Maintain detailed files of estimates and follow up on all unauthorised work until resolved Engage in team briefings and ensure quality, cost and timescale targets are hit Support a compliant and safe working environment What You’ll Need Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor Current ATA Accreditation (or previously held and willing to renew) Proven background using Audatex and Autoflow Ability to work independently and deliver high levels of accuracy Full understanding of VDA processes and insurance repair methods Benefits Competitive salary up to £46,000 OTE (includes team bonus) 30 days annual leave including public holidays (plus more with service) Health cash plan – claim back on medical, dental, optical costs Cycle to work scheme Recommend a technician scheme (bonus incentive) Long service awards Company pension Free on-site parking High street and retail discounts Recognition schemes for outstanding performance We Get It – You Might Not Tick Every Box Research shows people often don’t apply unless they meet every requirement.
