Vehicle Damage Assessor Location: Edinburgh PAYE Rate: £15 p/h LTD Rate: £17 p/h Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday Hours: 6am–6pm Igloo has an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Damage Assessor in the Edinburgh Airport area. This role offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading automotive companies who have operations across the nation. The Role: In this position, your duties will include, but are not limited to the following: * To carry out post-accident damage assessments on used vehicles. * Upload all the relevant pictures and files to the system. * Liaise with insurance companies and their engineers regarding the damage and work to be completed. * Vehicles can range from small family cars through to light commercial vehicles. Essential Qualities and Requirements: * Be able to demonstrate understanding, knowledge, and experience of working as a VDA. * Able to carry out the work to a high standard. * Excellent attention to detail. * Must be able to work under own initiative as well as being a team player. * Must hold a full category B driving license with no more than 6 points for minor offences
