I am looking for a newly trained Vehicle Damage Assessor VDA to join my client's friendly and busy team in Hoddesdon. You will be working with a very experienced VDA and wider team so this is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills. * £40,000 negotiable, depending upon experience. * Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm * ATA Accredited preferred but not essential * Audatex experience preferred but not essential The team work hard in a very fast paced industry to make sure that the customer is always happy with the repairs to their vehicle. It is a fun and friendly team who work closely to ensure that the jobs are carried out thoroughly. The Role * Carry out computerised estimates * Communicate with customers to provide repair information and an indication of completion time * Compile all relevant information and complete supporting documentation * Record all estimate / repair information on in house system * Monitor progress of the vehicle through the repair process * Negotiate estimates with the Suppliers Engineer when required * To identify opportunities for non-insurance related repairs * Check for authorisations daily * To maintain and secure allocated equipment We are looking for someone with * Proven experience or knowledge of working in the automotive repair industry * ATA Accredited (preferred but not essential) * Customer service skills - experience of delivery high quality service to customers * Planning and organisational skills * Flexibility and adaptability managing workflow * Valid driving licence Salary £40,000 depending on experience Location Hoddesdon EN11 Despite our best efforts it is not always possible to respond to every application individually due to the high volume of responses we receive on each vacancy Only candidates who are shortlisted will be contacted for this particular role and if you have not heard from us within 7 days please assume that you have not be successful.
