Vehicle Compound Operative Location: Long Bennington, Lincolnshire Shift: Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:00 Pay Rate: £12.21 p/h Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks) We are recruiting Vehicle Compound Operatives to join our client’s newly opened site in Long Bennington, a leading UK automotive company. This role is essential in ensuring efficient vehicle movements between the compound and workshops. Key Responsibilities: * Safely manoeuvre vehicles within the large outdoor compound and in/out of workshops. * Parking vehicles in bays and jump-start where necessary. * Work with a variety of vehicles, including standard cars, high-performance models, and EVs. * Drive manual, automatic, semi-automatic, and electric vehicles. * Carry out pre-movement vehicle inspections, reporting any damages or issues. * Work efficiently in all weather conditions. Ideal Candidate Profile: * Confident driving different vehicle types and transmissions. * Previous professional driving experience is an advantage. * Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years, with no more than 6 points for minor offences). * Must have your own vehicle to be able to get to site.
