Order Ref: 39489 Position Title: Validation Engineer Duration: 12 Month Rolling Contract Location: Gaydon Division: Engineering Operations Position Description: Validation Engineer This role is an engineer who conducts a bill of material validation for pre-production build phases. This will include creating the validation files and metrics. Contacting the engineers to validate the parts and recording the results on the validation document. It is key that all error states are understood, and corrective actions defined, and appropriate issue resolution documentation is completed. A daily status night letter is published during validation activities and at the end of the validation the candidate will lead a full handover meeting with stake holders. The validations can be either as part of a team or individually. Skills Required: BOM experience is essential understanding how a logical structure works within a BOM is key with a high attention to detail Competent in Excel. Confident in communication Experience Required: There are no mandatory qualifications, but the Client would like experience in similar roles. Although their tools are primarily Excel and would like the candidate to be a competent user. But need to have a broad IT understanding.
