Summary: Start date: ASAP Duration: 6 months Location: Leighton Buzzard Pay Rate: £18.50 per hour Hours: 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday - 7.00am to 4pm Friday - 7am to 12pmResponsibilities: Precision trimming and fitting of aerospace components to ensure high-quality standards are met Has the ability to remove and recover leather & laminate Panels Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to execute trimming tasks accurately Modifying and shaping parts using hand and power tools Collaborating with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the trimming process Conducting regular quality checks to maintain product integrity and to identify any defects or inconsistencies Complying with all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and othersSkills and qualifications: Previous experience in trimming or a related field, specifically within the aerospace industry, is highly desirable Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail to achieve precise trimming results Familiarity with various hand and power tools commonly used in trimming tasks Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team A proactive mindset, with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks efficiently within tight deadlines Willingness to adapt and learn new techniques and methodologies as necessaryIf you are an experienced and enthusiastic Trimmer looking to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you!
