Transport Administrator Location : Leighton Buzzard Salary : £29000 Hours : Monday to Friday The main purpose of this role is to support the Transport Planning team who ensure vehicles are collected swiftly from the UK network of dealerships in to the Leighton Buzzard preparation facility, alongside orchestrating a seamless delivery of New Cars to end users supporting some of the top FN50 manufacturers to deliver an exceptional delivery and hand over experience. Alongside this, ensuring the outsourcing of excess vehicle collection and delivery (C&D) volume. The aim of the role is to reduce inefficiency, maintain profitability and to support SLA’s. Key Responsibilities: * To make outbound calls to customers to confirm delivery timeframe * To develop and build external relationships with third party logistics providers * Upload POC’s/POD’s to the internal system * Review Supplier pricing on portal to enable swift invoicing. Required Skills/Knowledge * Strong communicator and inter personnel skills * Must be able to work in a proactive manner * Excellent IT Skill * Must display a highly diligent and methodical approach to time management
