Our client, one of the top 3 motor trade employers in the UK, is on the hunt for an ambitious and talented Transaction/Business Manager to come and join their fantastic team within a prestigious franchised dealership.

The Transaction/Business Manager is the driving force behind the success of our sales team and play an essential role within the dealership from coaching and development through to assisting management in planning and forecasting trends.

You will also act as a role model for customer service excellence for the team, always leading by example.

You will develop long-lasting, meaningful relationships with customers whilst coaching and motivating the team to do the same.


  • Identifying based on requirement and individual suitability, appropriate funding and insurance options for customers, whilst maintaining excellent levels of compliance and commitment to treating customers fairly.
  • Understand all aspects of financial and insurance product regulations to ensure accurate information is given when negotiating a vehicle sale.
  • You will also monitor finance and insurance performance against expectation, whilst maintaining a compliant sales process
  • As You will work with management to coach and develop the skills of the team to achieve business objectives.
  • Assisting management in planning, forecasting trends, and revising plans for the dealership on an ongoing basis
  • Acquire a high level of product knowledge to competently answer all customer queries and logging all activity to monitor and measure outcomes and provide regular feedback to the Management teams.


  • You will have experience working as a Transaction/Business Manager within a franchised car dealership, ideally with a premium brand, or be an ambitious Sales Executive looking to progress your career.
  • You will be able to demonstrate your track record of high sales numbers or experience managing a number of high performing sales executives.
  • Experience monitoring financial performance against budget and the ability to identify and address any shortfalls promptly is a must.
  • You will need the ability to understand finance and insurance product regulations.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate a sale.

Working hours/days:

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 6:00pm

Weekends on a rota basis

Saturdays 9:00am - 5:00pm

Sunday 10:00am - 4:00pm


£35k basic

£55k OTE, Genuine and uncapped.
