Trainee Manufacturing Engineer Permanent Salary dependent on experience Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm or 8am – 5pm, Friday 7am – 12pm or 8am – 1pm Castle Donington Trainee Manufacturing Engineer Job Description Support NPI projects, helping to develop and improve manufacturing processes Work closely with production teams, suppliers and customers to ensure products meet strict quality standards. Gain hands-on shopfloor experience by assisting with manufacturing support, process improvements and problem-solving activities. Learn to create and maintain engineering documentation including BOMs, routings, SOPs, inspection plans, PFMEAs and FAIR documentation. Assist with investigating manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions using industry-standard root cause analysis tools such as 5Y, 3C, and 8D.
