The Trainee Forklift Engineer role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. Automotive technicians/motor trade applicants will also be very suitable. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills. You’ll form part of a highly skilled team of 10 in a very reputable business. You’ll be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown on a range of used and new forklifts. You’ll also carry out PDI's and order any spares when needed and communicate progress. There is quite a lot of overtime for those looking to boost earnings.
