SENIOR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN Basic Salary: Up to £44,000 Depending on Experience OTE: Up to £50,000 Location: Birmingham Central Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join their busy and successful workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician with VAG experience who enjoys diagnostics, fault finding and complex repairs whilst working within a professional dealership environment. Benefits - Free Parking - Tool Box Insurance - Staff Discounts - Two Weeks Off Over Christmas - Manufacturer Brand Training - Ongoing Career Development Key Responsibilities - Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards - Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and electronic faults - Complete advanced repairs including cambelts, timing chains, clutch replacements and engine repairs - Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional work requirements - Utilise diagnostic equipment to investigate and resolve technical issues - Carry out road tests and quality control checks following repairs - Accurately complete job cards, service records and warranty documentation - Maintain high levels of workshop efficiency and productivity - Ensure compliance with manufacturer and health & safety standards Skills & Qualifications - NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair - Essential - Minimum 2 Years VAG Group Experience - Essential - Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability - Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership environment - MOT Tester Licence advantageous but not essential - Full UK Manual Driving Licence - Own tools and toolbox - Right to work in the UK (No sponsorship available) If you are interested in this Senior Vehicle Technician vacancy, please contact Kieran and quote job number 53958
