The Role As a key member of the workshop team, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are maintained and repaired to manufacturer standards. ·Servicing & Repairs: Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and safely. ·Vehicle Inspections: Complete vehicle health checks and report additional work required. ·Diagnostics: Perform basic mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis. ·PDI Work: Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles. ·Accessories & Repairs: Fit accessories and complete authorised repair work. ·Warranty Work: Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards. ·Road Testing: Test vehicles following repair work to ensure faults are rectified. ·Documentation: Complete all job cards and paperwork accurately and professionally. What We Need From You ·Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) is essential. ·Experience: Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic / Automotive Technician. ·Licence: Full UK Driving Licence required. ·Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy workshop. ·Motivation: Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and develop. ·Desirable Skills: Diagnostic, MOT, and EV experience would be advantageous but are not essential.
