The company manufactures, sells and applies its proprietary coating systems on mission-critical components utilising nanomaterial dispersion, tightly-controlled spray deposition and post application dry etching to meet stringent stray-light suppression systems requirements. Due to succession planning and in preparation for their next phase of expansion, we now seek an accomplished individual to drive further efficiencies across the Operations function. Role * Responsibilities extend across production, planning, internal and external supply chains, including procurement, warehousing and logistics with a focus on efficiency * Lead on accountability within Operations performance to ensure delivery to Quality, Time and Cost targets * Formulate and implement the operations strategy for the business to drive efficiency on a daily basis via KPI performance management and fine-tuning processes and procedures * Maintain certification to ISO Quality and Environmental Standards and adherence to H&S regulations * Support the Management Team in development of Company Strategy, Departmental Objectives and Organisational Structure as required You * Embrace and deliver change and can be instrumental in promoting a growth mindset within your Team * Are able to demonstrate leadership skills to include coaching, prioritisation and delegation while fostering an environment of inter-departmental cohesion * Can evidence experience of Budgeting, Reporting, Inventory Management, Contract Negotiation and good Employment Practices * Ideally conversant with coating application and surface modification techniques together with analysis - (spectroscopy, semiconductor processing etc.) * Familiar with Lean manufacturing methods, Kaizen/problem solving methods, operations improvements (e.g. 5S, DMAIC) For consideration, submit cv with salary details quoting Ref: JRP/TOM/219
