Supply Chain Operations Specialist - 39440 - £22.46/hr Umbrella (inside IR35) 5 month initial contract Solihull Position Description: The Release and Follow Up department manage parts portfolio and associated Supply Base to ensure parts are available to meet build requirements within Operational F.T.T. / Inventory and Budget targets. Working as part of a team of Supply Chain Specialists, you will be responsible for areas including the following: Tune base scheduling data to support current business requirements effectively and ensure resulting schedules are issued to suppliers on a timely basis Optimise scheduling parameters within material planning systems Check the integrity of schedules and ensure the frequency of issues support supply base and business requirements Procurement of pre and volume requirements and run-out parts, including management of New Parts for Model Year and Running Change requirements (48hr turnaround) Monitor/control and report parts delivery per schedule parameters To apply for this Supply Chain Operations Specialist role, you will require the following: Good working knowledge of Material Planning and Logistics, preferably from within the motor manufacturing or supply base industry Understanding of motor manufacturing production methods ERP Systems knowledge or experience of CMMS3 Competency in MS Excel required (ability to generate simple spreadsheets containing formulas etc.) Ability to quickly understand and challenge Logistics processes Ability to take on high levels of responsibility and work under pressure Please do not hesitate to contact our Jonathan Lee Recruitment team today to apply and register your interest for this contract Supply Chain Operations Specialist position in Solihull.
