On behalf of our client, an established and reputable component MRO, we are seeking to recruit a Supply Chain and Quality Manager for a permanent position based in Bedfordshire. The successful candidate will be tasked with growing the MRO function and will assume responsibility for its operational and supply chain efficiency, as well as adherence to internal and external quality requirements. Role: Supply Chain and Quality Manager Pay: Competitive Contract: Permanent Position Responsibilities Manage the existing MRO Business in its current form Perform current engineering requirements or recruit team to do this. Co-ordination of all repair activity for the business. Manage the end-to-end process of goods out for repair to goods in post repair. Manage all airworthiness aspects of the business and serve as an advisor to the senior management team on airworthiness matters Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met at all times. Manage service providers to ensure that charges are as per contract and to budget. Supporting and assisting sales functions. Project management and implementation of all projects assigned to them. Developing and building working relationships with existing and new suppliers Monitor performance and selection of suppliers in association with Quality Dept. Attend relevant meetings as and when required. Handle day to day quality queries such as part conditions, RMAs and certification interpretation Maintain the AS9120 and AS9110 standards and all activities that contribute to this such as mandatory training for staff. Maintain other standards such as JOSCAR and ASA Membership Manage all external and internal audits to ensure they are in date and all non-conformances are investigated and resolved Oversee the BMS and QMS documents, ensure up to date, policy compliant and configuration control maintained. Ideal Candidate Profile Extensive experience in Airworthiness and supply chain management Firm understanding of AS9110 and AS9120 as well as other accreditations. Familiarity with internal and external auditing Demonstrates a proactive, flexible, and can-do attitude, and is willing to work in an SME environment. Demonstrates commercial acumen and mindset to continually refine and improve. Has previously worked in a position of leadership and is able to demonstrate experience of change management.
