Morson are working with the UK's largest Defence Manufacturer who are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join the company. Electrical or Mechanical background preferable but will consider from some other industries. The roles offers Hybrid working of 3 days on site 2 from home. Strong problem solving skills with industry standard tools, 8D, Ishikawa, 5Why, DMAIC (latter nice to have). Considerable experience in customer complaints, customer/supplier relationship management. Ideally the relationship owner of the supplier to the customer. resolving none conformance reports (NCRs) Corrective Action requests (CARs) or otherwise referenced as CAPA/RCCA. Skills: The ability to interpret specifications, procedures and contract requirements and cascade to others Lead facilitator of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies; Fishbone, 5 Why, relationship diagrams, six sigma etc. gathering and analysing evidence Effective action management and verification Effective stakeholder management (including with the customer) If you are interested in this role and would like to apply please submit an up to date CV
