You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering structural and occupant injury simulations for aircraft seating products used worldwide. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with strong FEA expertise and a passion for structural integrity, weight optimisation, and aircraft safety. Key Responsibilities: Perform linear and non-linear finite element analysis (FEA) using Altair Hyperworks and MSC Nastran Create and validate models for structural stress and occupant injury simulations Apply classical aerospace calculations and present results through detailed reports Collaborate with internal design, certification, and production teams throughout the lifecycle of the product Requirements: Essential: Proven experience in aerospace stress analysis Strong knowledge of FEA tools, including Hypermesh, Optistruct, and Nastran Skilled in technical documentation and stakeholder communication Understanding of structural mechanics and regulatory standards Desirable: Exposure to explicit analysis (e.g. Radioss) and occupant injury modelling Knowledge of aircraft interiors and industry regulations (e.g. FAR/CS 25-561) Familiarity with fatigue and damage tolerance methods What's On Offer: Generous annual leave (plus bank holidays) Early finish on Fridays Hybrid working model Strong employer pension contribution Share scheme and life assurance Defined career progression with structured training and development Interested?
