Our client, a leading innovator in electromechanical manufacturing, is looking for a Stores Operative to join their dedicated team in Reading. About the Role: As a Stores Operative, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our Stores and Distribution area. From receiving and verifying goods to supporting production through timely kitting services, your attention to detail and commitment to stock integrity will make a real impact. Key Responsibilities: Accurately receive, handle, and distribute goods while maintaining full traceability. Provide timely kitting services for production and subcontract operations. Assist with perpetual inventory stock checks and maintain stock locations. Uphold health, safety, and environmental compliance standards. Offer support and training to Associate Stores Operatives. Collaborate with colleagues to cover holidays or sickness, ensuring seamless operations. What We're Looking For: Experience: 1-3 years in MRP pick lists, stores locations, and lot traceability is preferred. Skills: Strong organizational and planning abilities, proficiency in MS Office and MRP systems, and excellent teamwork. Preferred: Current forklift certification. Work Environment: You'll work in an open-plan stores area adjacent to our dynamic manufacturing environment.
