Our client, a market leading Aerospace company, are looking for TIG Welders to join the team in Wolverhampton. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on various metals, including aluminium, stainless steel or Inconel. The ideal candidate should possess strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work with precision. Position Overview: * The ideal candidate will be either apprentice trained, time served experience or hold a C&G qualification in welding. * Previous welding experience in thin gauge aluminium, inconel or stainless steel. * Confident reader of engineering/technical drawings. * Previous experience of working in an aerospace environment would be an advantage but not essential. * Select and prepare materials for welding, including grinding, and fitting components to achieve precise dimensions. * Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and rectify defects as necessary. * Work closely with other team members, including fabricators, engineers, and supervisors to achieve project goals and deadlines.
