On behalf of our client, a specialist Aerospace fabrication and welding business, we’re actively recruiting a number Detailed Sheet Metal Workers to join their growing team in Manchester on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic chance to join a dynamic team specialising in precision engineering and high-quality components. The Role As a Detailed Sheet Metal Worker, you’ll be responsible for producing precision components for the aerospace sector, working with a variety of materials and processes. Key responsibilities include: * Interpreting and working from engineering drawings. * Operating and maintaining tools such as rubber presses and hand-forming equipment. * Profiling, shaping, and fabricating sheet metal components to exacting standards. * Collaborating with a team to ensure production deadlines and quality standards are met. About You The ideal candidate will have: * Proven experience in aerospace sheet metal work or a transferable high-precision industry. * Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Hands-on experience with manual and semi-automated sheet metal fabrication techniques. * An eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. * Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
