Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Service Technician and MOT Tester for our client, a well established Car Dealership. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, along with the necessary qualifications to conduct MOT tests. Responsibilities: Vehicle Servicing and Repairs: * * Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements. * Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in various vehicle systems. * Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions. MOT Testing: * * Conduct MOT tests in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines. * Record and report any defects or issues identified during MOT inspections. Customer Interaction: * * Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through professional interactions and informative accurate cost estimations for repairs. Documentation and Record-Keeping: * * Maintain accurate and detailed records of all services performed, including inspection results and test outcomes. * Complete necessary paperwork for MOT tests and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications: * Accredited certification as a Vehicle Service Technician. * MOT Tester qualification accredited by an approved body. * Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs. * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. * Excellent understanding of automotive systems and technology. * Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations. Hours: * Monday – Friday 8:30am – 17:30pm * 1 in 3 Saturdays
