Service Advisor Aspiring to be Service Team Leader required for Prestige Main Dealer in Weybridge, Surrey 

  • 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday + Saturday mornings on a rota 
  • Prestige Car Dealership 
  • Franchised Car Dealership 
  • £48,000 OTE earnings 
Our client, a Prestige Main Dealer in the Weybridge area are currently looking to hire an experienced and aspiring Service Team Leader to join their busy Automotive Aftersales team. Our client wants to hear from any Senior Service Advisors, Assistant Service Manager or Service Reception Managers with experience leading, motivating and running a Car Dealership's Service Team either as a Senior Service Advisor, Assistant Service Manager or Service Reception Manager to assist and support he work of their Aftersales Manager. 

This is a exciting opportunity to work with a fantastic brand in a state of the art dealership with no expense spared and a great working environment. Our client is looking for an aspiring Service Team Leader working in their aftersales team to assist them going the extra mile in ensuring the customers receive the VIP treatment they expect and deserve. Often coaching, working alongside the team of Service Advisors, Workshop Controllers and Vehicle Technicians. 

You will need to have a stable work history and be able to demonstrate a high level of People Management skills as well as good Automotive industry knowledge to assist them with customers, profitability and professionalism within the Car Dealership environment. Full manufacturer management accreditation training can be provided and a real career path with a well respected dealer group is on offer to the right applicant.

Duties of an Service Team Leader with our Client
  • Maintain standards of performance of the service team through effective coaching and performance management.
  • Recruit and select service team members in line with organisational and manufacturer requirements.
  • Ensure understanding and adherence to manufacturer service requirements and customer satisfaction indicators within the business to maintain high levels of customer service standards.
  • Ensure sufficient resources are available to meet servicing requirements and regularly review key operating controls (labour efficiency, labour sales, cost of sales), so they are in line with manufacturer and business operating requirements.
  • Maximise commercial opportunities through developing and implementing campaigns within specific market sectors.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer needs and competitor activity in the market, ensuring that service marketing campaigns are relevant and targeted.
  • Ensure all service processes meet brand standards requirements and that they are implemented in a consistent manner.
  • Regularly communicate and interact with members of other departments to develop the business and the business team ethos.
The successful Service Advisor / Service Team Leader will need to be confident, organised, focused, driven, and be able to prioritise customer service and profitability of all the aftersales team. The ideal Service Team Leader will be confident in a Prestige Service Department environment with good knowledge of service, workshop, parts and the ability to manage customer satisfaction at all times. Our client thrives off repeat custom and word of mouth.

What our Client expects of their Aspiring Service Team Leader:  
  • Full UK driving Licence.
  • Role model to your Service Team 
  • Coaching, mentoring and training existing Automotive Service staff within the car dealership 
  • Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT.
  • Kerridge / Key loop Experience Ideal!
  • Willing to step up and take on additional day to day responsibilities 
  • Understanding of car mechanics, purpose and location of parts.
