GTS Transportation is currently seeking an adept Service Manager to lead our field engineering team during out-of-hours operations, focusing on maintaining and repairing of telematic and CCTV systems in vehicles. Responsibilities: Lead, support, and guide our field engineering team, ensuring top-notch performance. Efficiently schedule and coordinate daily tasks, collaborating closely with customer managers. Monitor work quality, manage stock and tools, and streamline administrative processes. Oversee fleet vehicle management, including servicing and fuel administration. Maintain clear communication channels with customers and act as the main point of contact for engineers. Contribute to recruitment, training, and operational enhancement efforts. Provide occasional out-of-hours support and on-site visits as needed. Ideal Candidate: Proven managerial experience in technical fields like Mobile CCTV, telematics, or radio communication. Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with engineering tools, stock management, and electrical installations. Flexibility to work non-standard hours and proficient in management software. Prior experience managing field engineering teams is a plus.
