We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to join this busy team in Wakefield. Joining a main franchised dealership you will be responsible for: * Establishing rapport with customers and providing excellent service at all times * Identifying ways in which you can help the customer and achieve sales targets by selling technician labour and add-on products * Booking in customer vehicles for servicing, to maximise labour utilisation and efficiency * Arranging alternative transport for the customer (courtesy cars where possible) and liaising with drivers regarding pick-up and delivery of customer vehicles * Managing and following up all work in progress on customer vehicles; liaising regularly with the customer and Workshop Controller (and Technicians as required) to meet pre-arranged time frames * Producing customer invoices * Arranging/collecting payment from customers over the telephone or in person Skills required: * A passion to deliver a high standard of customer service * Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills * Administration skills; be able to use computers with confidence and the ability to organise and prioritise work * Knowledge of Pinnacle or other DMS systems would be advantageous * Previous motor industry experience in a similar role is desired but not essential A great opportunity to join a long-established motor group, with a great working environment and the opportunity to develop your career with ongoing training and progression opportunities.
